Terms of Service
Last updated: October 20, 2026
- We ask AI assistants about your business and tell you what they said and what to fix.
- AI answers change and nobody controls them. We don't guarantee you'll be recommended.
- Reports are non-refundable. If a report is wrong, we fix it with a free re-run or a free report.
- Subscriptions cancel anytime. Billing stops at the end of the period you've paid for.
1. Who we are
How To Get Recommended By AI (howtogetrecommendedbyai.com) is run by Nonentity LLC ("we", "us"). Nonentity LLC is the business name on your payment receipts. You can reach us at [email protected]. By using the site or buying anything from us, you agree to these terms.
2. What we provide
- Free check: a short check of a few customer-style questions with your score, the top competitors AI names, and one sample fix.
- AI Visibility Report ($49, one-time): about 25 customer-style questions for your trade and city, your score, a competitor leaderboard, the sources AI cites, a website check and a prioritized fix list, delivered on the web and as a PDF.
- Fix Kit ($149, one-time): everything in the Report plus drafted fixes you can paste in, such as structured data, an FAQ, Google Business Profile copy, a page outline, review templates and a list of listing gaps.
- Monitor ($29/month): weekly re-checks of your business so you can see how AI answers change over time. If you bought a $49 Report and sign up for Monitor with the same email, the $49 is credited toward your Monitor bills.
- Agency ($149/month): covers 10 locations; each extra location is $12/month.
Paid reports check ChatGPT (through OpenAI's API), Google Gemini (through Google's API) and Perplexity (through Perplexity's API); the free check uses ChatGPT and Gemini. We may add, change or remove AI engines over time, and we'll say on the site which ones are included. Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change; a change won't affect anything you've already paid for, and we'll tell subscribers before a price change applies to them.
3. What the results mean
Our reports are a snapshot of what AI assistants said when we asked them. AI answers vary from day to day, from person to person, and between the API we use and the app a customer uses. Our score, findings and suggested fixes are our opinion and analysis, not a promise.
We don't guarantee that any AI assistant, search engine or directory will recommend, rank or mention your business, or that following our suggestions will produce any particular result or by any particular date. We don't sell placement in AI answers, and we're not affiliated with OpenAI, Google, Perplexity, xAI or any other AI company.
4. Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate details about the business you want checked, and only order checks for a business you own, work for, or are authorized to act for (agencies: for your clients, with their permission).
- Review any drafted fix before you publish it. You're responsible for what goes on your website, profiles and listings, and for making sure it's true. For example, only use real reviews and real credentials.
- Don't misuse the service: no reselling reports as your own product without an agency plan, no attempts to break or overload the site, and no using it for anything illegal.
5. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We don't see or store your full card number. One-time products are charged when you order. Subscriptions (Monitor and Agency) are charged at the start of each billing period and renew automatically until you cancel.
6. Refunds and fixes
Reports and Fix Kits are non-refundable. The AI checks for your report start running as soon as you order, and each run has a real cost to us.
If something's wrong, we fix it. If your report has a real problem, for example it checked the wrong business, got your details wrong, or the data is broken or missing, email [email protected] and tell us what happened. We'll review it and, at our discretion, fix it with a free re-run or a free report. A low score, or AI answers you don't like, isn't an error in the report.
Nothing in these terms takes away any rights you have under laws that can't be waived by contract.
7. Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel Monitor or Agency at any time through the Stripe billing page we link to, or by emailing us. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be billed again. There are no cancellation fees and no refunds for partial periods. We may end a subscription if payment fails or these terms are broken.
8. Your report and our content
Once you've paid, you can use your report and drafted fixes for your own business (or, on an agency plan, for your clients). You can share it, print it and publish the fixes. The site, the report design, our scoring method and our software stay ours. The AI answers quoted in reports come from third-party AI services, and brand names belong to their owners.
9. Third-party services
We rely on other companies to run the service, including AI providers (Google, OpenAI and Perplexity), Stripe for payments, Resend for email and Cloudflare for hosting. We're not responsible for their outages or for what their AI models say, but we'll re-run a report that failed because of one of them.
10. Limits on our liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for lost profits, lost business, or indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited as follows:
- One-time purchases (a Report, a Fix Kit or any other single product): the fees you paid for that specific purchase.
- Subscriptions (Monitor or Agency): the fees you paid for that subscription in the 3 months before the claim.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, U.S.A., without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If we have a disagreement, please email us first; most problems can be fixed quickly.
